Expanded Child Pages in Search Results

  • Search now includes all descendant pages in the hierarchy, not just direct child pages

  • When you search for child pages, results cover multiple levels beneath the specified page, reflecting the full structure of your content tree

Expanded Parent Selection

  • You can now select not only pages with children, but also parent folders, databases, whiteboards or smart links when choosing a parent in the page hierarchy

  • This enables searching and filtering below any content in a space

These changes apply to all features where you can search in child pages of selected content in a space.

Details

Improved reliability with new endpoints

  • now uses updated endpoints for its operations. This change ensures compatibility with platform requirements and prevents deprecated endpoint errors on page updates when performing actions.

Fix in find and replace URLs preview in space settings

  • preview for find and replace of URLs in space settings now displays correctly. Previously, attempting to preview affected items showed a blank screen instead of a preview.

Menu icon display fix

  • now correctly displays the menu icon in spaces after it failed to load in the previous version.

Addressing page update errors

  • Previously, if you attempted to update a page using the find and replace feature, an error would occur if the text to be replaced was only found in the title while both "Title" and "Content" were selected as the areas to search.

  • This update resolves the issue, allowing you to successfully update the title under these settings without error.

Global settings page loading issue

  • global settings page has been optimized to address an issue where it failed to load if an instance contained more than 400 user groups. With this fix, you can seamlessly access the global settings regardless of the number of user groups present.

Improved find and replace functionality

  • resolved issues that previously failed to update text in specific scenarios, such as when a backslash or quotation mark was at the start or end of text, or when a sentence end character led the text. Users will now experience consistent behavior when using these characters, ensuring accurate text updates across their pages.

This change aligns with our commitment to maintaining strict data controls and showcasing privacy protections.

  • updated to operate in a no egress manner

  • egress had been necessary to display custom user avatars. With a recent change by Atlassian, this is no longer required.

Find and replace (URLs) fix:

  • resolved an issue where the functionality was inconsistently available across spaces.

  • users can now reliably search and replace URLs in all supported spaces, including personal spaces.

Page titles display in large spaces:

  • update addresses a visibility issue where page titles were not displayed upon initial loading in large spaces when attempting to select pages. Now, the page titles appear correctly from the start, ensuring you can easily navigate and select the appropriate pages without delay.

Enhanced text search capabilities:

Bug fixed that app fails to load when trying to edit page body which is stored with old editor. Body modifications now only work with the new editor. Pages stored with the old editor are skipped and won't be updated by the app.

You can now check what will be changed by the find and replace tool on a preview. The preview lists all pages that will be changed and shows how the changed text will look like. Then you can decide whether you really want to execute the changes or go back and refine your settings.
