Nothing changes until you click Save on the preview. To get to the preview you first have to click Save and then Save on the confirmation popup.

How to enable/disable a feature across Confluence instance
Under the Global tab toggle to enable/disable a feature (also called a module). By default, all modules are enabled:
When you disable a feature under Global:

does not show in any space

Use case
When a feature is restricted the user does not see it at all, it is like it does not exist. This means that not all users necessarily see the exact same options when using the app.
If you get a support request and it is not clear what a user sees, check their access level or ask them to take a screenshot.
Find and replace disabled from a space
In this example we disabled (blocked) the feature ‘find and replace’ for the space ‘Documentation’.
When Space Content Manager is opened under Apps, global page where can edit multiple spaces at the same time, the UI changes.
If only the space ‘Documentation’ is selected, Find and replace is does not show at all, it is completely removed.
But if at least one space selected as access to ‘Find and replace’ then it shows in the menu but as noted in the warning message it is blocked from using that space. In this case ‘Find and replace’ will only search pages in the space ‘Team’.
Under Space Apps
When access Space Content Manger at the space level under Space Apps ‘Find and replace’ is no longer visible. As it only ever has access to one space the user will never have ‘Find and replace’ as a tab therefore now warning message would ever appear.
