2.1.0: June 26, 2024

Summary

Major release: app rebuilt in Forge

Details

ACTION REQUIRED: onetime migration after manually running this update.

How to migrate step-by-step guide.

Go to Administration → Apps → Redirection Migration.

We have built a 2-clicks migration tool. It takes under 5 minutes.

Migration must be run by a user with global permissions. A user can only migrate pages they have access to.

Redirection by Easy Apps has been rebuilt using Atlassian’s Forge development platform. This change allows us to take advantage of Forge’s robust security and data residency features as well as update the app more often.

The update was released on June 26, 2024. After a system administrator manually updates an instance to the latest version, all existing redirects will immediately stop working. A onetime migration must be performed to restore redirection functionality.
