Page title prefix/suffix: Easy Toolbox for Confluence
With the prefix/suffix tool for page titles you can add either a prefix, suffix or both to a bunch of pages in one action. Three options are available for the pages the title pre-/suffix shall be added:
Add title prefix/suffix to all pages in the space
Add title prefix/suffix to all child pages of selected pages
Add title prefix/suffix to individually selected pages
How it can be used
1. Select the apply to option for adding prefix/suffix

Add prefix/suffix to all child page titles of the selected pages in the appearing select list field

which are in the space where you accessed the toolbox

If you select the “Include selected parent page(s)” checkbox below, also the selected parent pages will be included for adding title prefix/suffix.

2. Insert prefix and/or suffix you want to add to the pages titles

If you selected “All pages in space” or “Pages I select” as apply to option, the preview is displayed instantly below after you inserted anything in either the prefix or the suffix field.
For the child pages option, you have to click on the preview button to generate the preview. The reason is that those child pages need to be fetched based on the selected parent pages to show the preview.
3. If the preview is displayed, you can decide individually for each page if the prefix or suffix should actually be added. If you don’t want to add it on one of the pages, unselect the respective checkbox in the preview list.
4. If you are satisfied with the preview, click on the submit button to apply the changes to the page titles.
You will see a progress bar and the list of pages where prefix or suffix have been added below. You can quickly navigate to those pages by clicking on the respective link. The green check icon shows you that the changes have been successfully done.
